About Me
Update! New songs available!
Saving Daylight Remains was formed in October, 2003 from three Latvian cities Riga, Kraslava and Valmiera. Dislocation is Riga, co-ordinates to be clarified. As known, everyone has been mastering it's instrument by self-taughing (special thanks to google.com) and is continuing this process, and hopefully will fully master them.
Every member of SDR brings his own ideas, making what you call Saving Daylight Remains. Despite frequentative changes in the line-up, which especially affected vocal part, SDR music has become more interesting, energetic and heavier, but two vocals Anita and Vitalijs put together original sound. Lyrics aren't attached to any specific theme. There are emotions, relations, and existence significance in our insight.
Part of band's members have played or have been playing simultaneously in such bands as Hidden Well, Enhet, Infected, Foul Taste of Freedom, Collide. Some of former SDR members are members of various bands, and the most famous are The Beauty Of Crying Star, Second Chance.
First serious record was made in December, 2004. At that time 2 songs were recorded: Déja Vu and A Hundred Miles. Record was waged in Fenikss studio. In the near future new record session is planned, and an album is possible too
During the short existence term there were already a few gigs in Latvia, as well as a gig in Lithuania (w/ Jairus). SDR have played together with many domestic and foreign bands IndyGo, Ghetto Zloba, Hope Dies Last (R.I.P), Kriegopfer, In.Stora, Plague Mass, Sons Of Saturn, Les Corte, Jairus, Bora, When My Authorities Fall, as well with other not less significant bands.
Let the horse be besides you...
