Tha General, born Jayanti Richardson in Brooklyn, New York grew up in Bed Stuy part of Brooklyn. As he got older, he began to idolize such rappers such as, Ice Cube, Ja Rule, Nas, Prodigy and Tupac. He began to rap at the age of 14 when he was just a sophmore at Murry Bergtraum High School in New York City, New York. Writing rhymes is what he would do all day, just to stay on point. Once he got that his flow down packed and all the support, he began to record and make records. In 2006 he and Half Man The Great formed "KnockOut Crookz", and have not looked back yet. In the summer of 2008 he received a call from Roc-a-fella records in which they talked with him and showed interest in meeting with him, THATS BIG. Now At 21 years old, he has one solo album already done as well as one group album entitled *First Round*. He and Half Man plan to go to the next level before 2010. In 2007 Tha General began producing, (in other words he started to make beats), and has produced alot of tracks for himself and other artist. His first studio album entitled *Relentless* which was released on May 9th, 2008, is still for sale and can also be downloaded FOR FREE from this page. *Generally Speaking: Tha Mixtape* can also be downloaded from this page FOR FREE as well. Late 2008 him and Half released their first mixtape called *Wanted: Dead or Alive*. They are now workin on their second mixtape. With one studio album, one group album, and two mixtapes all released, you got no choice but to believe he will be signed to a major label soon. His 2nd studio album entitled *Time is of the Essence* will be released in 2009.
