A star as truly born when this young beautiful Bi-Racial Butterfly was Born Sheridan Maria , 18th June 1994, Sheridan was born in West Yorkshire, UK and raised In Manchester where she attended St Johns primary school, Dukinfield in the UK. Sheridan then moved to Hong Kong when she was 5 years old, and has travelled all over the world since her move visiting China, Singapore, Philippines, Australia, Dubai, Bali, Thailand to name a few. Whilst in Hong Kong she Attended Kowloon Junior School. Sheridan now attends Glenmuir High School in Maypen in Jamaica for the last year. Even at the tender age of twelve Sheridan has had a vast range of experience in different cultures, travel, music and acting from a very early age. Sheridan has had a love for music since the age of three and writing poetry from the age of five; she started writing poetry first and then turned her writings into songs. Being raised very musically and becoming a member of her grand fathers (who was a church minister) church choir, she often sang and performed weekly for church elders. Acting was also a love; Sheridan acted in various church plays, performances for charity & the Elderly. Her love for the stage and singing has only grown stronger as Sheridan has got older; she was a member of Oldham theatre workshop, Drama and various musical performances with her school in UK, Hong Kong and Jamaica. Sheridan’s hobbies include music, acting, horses, reading, movies, travel, meeting people, Dancing and writing & performing her songs. Sheridan has had a warm welcome into the music industry in Jamaica and currently living in Jamaica and has been involved in many radio interviews and TV appearances when she performed live on radio recently. This beautiful little girl with has captured many hearts. Known to many fellow Jamaican artistes, Sheridan is the only little mixed race English girl on the reggae, R&B & Hip hop circuit in Jamaica at the tender age of thirteen. Sheridan is also known in Jamaica s the Bi Racial Butterfly.Her singing and hip hop skills are unique, alongside her excellent writing skills. Sheridan also has a great love for Dub Poetry, some you will find on her latest CD. Her newest release, ‘JETLAG’ is already loved and getting extensive airplay on radio stations such as Irie FM, DJ’s Queen Elise Kelly, Ron Muchette, DJ Shinehead, Big A, Mighty Mike and DJ Sunshine in Jamaica and USA via Internet, Hot 102 fm, Roots fm, Zip fm in Jamaica, ALL FM, UK and HK radio. Sheridan has a large following not only in Jamaica; she also has a lot of fans in Hong Kong, UK, India and Asia because of her travelling. Sheridan also performed live in front of 1500 students, Live on radio for Ritchie B, at her school in Jamaica, Glenmuir High school. The children were going crazy over Sheridan’s live performance. Sheridan’s love for music shines through her spirituality and can be seen in her performance. Sheridan has now recorded a complete album to date. Some of her releases to date include ‘Put your mind to it’ Determination ?Rhythm, ‘Jah Prayer’ Outspoken Rhythm, ‘Shotta’ on the ‘Tribal Peace Rhythm’ and ‘Butterfly’ on Life seeds Rhythm and now her latest release ‘Jetlag’.
