I'm very excited to present this new song written as the closing credit song for the new indie movie "Portraits of Sari," written and directed by Dan Magro , which premiered in Philadelphia last year
We recorded this song under the "McDonald-Perkins Band" name, which is a side project (follow the link in MY FRIENDS)

I'm an east coast born and raised singer/songwriter, and still live in the Philadelphia area. Eleven years ago I jumped back into music head first and haven't looked back since! My Brit music partner, John Perkins , and I met online and play both sides of the pond and have been getting airplay in the States, most notably on WXPN fm in Philadelphia, home of the syndicated World Cafe and the UK, on BBC Radio2.
Our new CD, "Chasing The Sunset," just needs some finishing
touches and should be out soon on InterMet Records. I'm working on the cover art now (I did the art for Madmen & Lovers too.) Notable guest musicians, including guest producer/super musician Andrew Gold , will be featured on this album. You can hear his genius on the song, "Marie Elena," which we recorded in Nashville.
Many background vox on the album are by fellow local
