Born in Atlanta, Ga., raised in Riverdale, Tenille Johnson is a 20 year old singer/songwriter aspiring to take the music world by storm introducing a fresh blend of Neo- Soul and mature R&B sounds with inspiration from artists such as Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley, Etta James, Whitney Houston and Anthony Hamilton.Tenille began singing as a child in her church choir, she practiced her craft daily by singing to Whitney Houston's "The BodyGuard" soundtrack. Over the years she has performed in talent showcases and fashion shows, she has also graced the stages of multiple open mic's and poetry expositions.Tenille's music explores real life situations in love and relationships, it delves into her own personal attitudes and thoughts about issues that affect people and their daily lives. Her music offers positive messages and positive outlooks on even the most troublesome occurences.
