The Remnant Nation Music Ministry (formerly known as Anthony Reid and
Remnant Nation), established in March of 2004, is comprised of young adults
throughout the Washington, DC area who are committed to Gospel Music being a
Ministry rather than just an avenue in which to sing. Under the constant
guidance of the Holy Spirit and the direction of its Founder, J. Anthony Reid,
RN is dedicated to sharing the love of Christ wherever the Spirit would lead
them. Their sole purpose is to deliver the Word of God through song and to
witness to those that are in darkness and guide them into the marvelous light of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The VISION for RN is to reach those
individuals who will not normally set foot into a church building. Some call
them the "un-churched." Our pastors' job is to preach to the congregation, feed
the flock, etc. Our job as believers/sheep is to go spread the Word to the land
and compel the lost to come to Christ and to compel them to come hear a Word
from the Lord. To go out into the land, out side of the walls of the building
known as the church, and grab those who are lost, and the backsliders, etc., and
compel them to come hear from God, and compel them to renew their covenant with
God.
RN recognizes that there are souls who need reaching that will
probably never purchase a gospel CD, but still need to know Jesus Saves! We need to reach them all.
