THE WOO HOOS

'The Woo Hoos' are a three piece Rock/Alternative band made up of Marcus Evans on lead vocals and guitar, Adam Baynham on bass, and Andy Osborne on vocals and drums. They met 14 years ago at a live music jam session in a disused warehouse in Wolverhampton, this jam session became the nucleus for what has become known as the 'The Woo Hoo' sound - an exhilarating mix of raw guitar riffs, funky bass lines and solid drum beats, fused together with a strong lyrical content.After 3 years together lifes journey dispersed the band and took each member on a different life path, however the continuity for Evans, Baynham and Osborne was their undying belief in and passion for the music they had created.After 10 years apart fate interevened, in October 2006, and bought the guys back together. The reformed band created a highly dynamic and original new set with mesmerizing guitar riffs and intoxicating raw sounds - their lyrics now had a maturity that came from their divergent life experiences.Their debut album 'SOUNDS FROM THE ORANGE ROOM' is an ecclectic mix of solid beats blended togther with life journey lyrics - feast on its delights, absorb its originality and digest on its diversity.The band gel together with a mix of converging influences from Jimi Hendrix to James Morrison, from The Doors to Prince from The Rolling Stones to Jamiroquai.
