THE WIVES - the rockgroup with only "Fair Ladies" (quote from the newspaper Ystadsallehanda...) or "Crazy Babes" (quote from a guitar-customer)... ELISABETH ZAAR, guitar and singer, MARIANNE TÃ…JE, piano and singer, ANETTE MÃ…RTENSSON, bass and singer. On the early live-recordings: Petra Nilsson played the drums. Now we are looking for a new drummer! Beautiful ballads and Rock..n Roll, Blues, Funk, Pop, Bossa and some jazz - all in womanly harmony....and of course - the songs and lyrics are all made by THE WIVES!

ELISABETH AND MARIANNE just met one evening to play together... THE WIVES was a fact! They started to play with some of their Toy Boys... but after half a year, in October 2006, ANETTE AND PETRA joined THE WIVES. From October 2008 we are working with new materials and new settings. We are hoping to find a new female drummer.... and we will enter the studio again and start to record our first album! ..
