David Metcen

Hello, I'm David Metcen. Born and raised in New York City. In 1979 At the age of 17 yrs and right after graduating, David started playing the Bass Guitar professionally with the International R&B music group Odyssey (Native New Yorker). David traveled around the world with Odyssey which led him to meet 100's of other musicians and artist throughout the world. In 1983 David began working with legendary Jazz Great Vibraphonist Roy Ayers and from that day, David's Professional career as a Musician/ recording Producer was In Flight. 1985 David started writing and producing with Roy Ayers on several of his Albums. Since 1979 and presently, David has served as Musical Director and or Toured with Artist such as: Anita Baker, Michael Bolton, Regina Belle, Chante Moore, George Duke, Will Downing, The Temptations, Najee, Rachelle Ferrell, Paul Taylor, Bobbi Humphrey, Ashford and Simpson, Patti Austin, The Gary Byrd Experience, Jonathan Butler, Gerald Albright,Vesta, Kim Waters, Warren Hill, Deniece Williams, Mark Morrison and Many more. Now living in Stuart Florida.
