Being 'blessed' is an understatement when it comes to describing my life. My 4 children are my life. They are everything to me and nothing less. My children and I have been through a lot together, just the 5 of us and that has created a bond that no one can break. They trust and know that Mommy will be there EVERYDAY when they wake up and I'm not going anywhere, because there is NO PLACE better than home. I have worked hard for the things I have in my life and work even harder to acheive the things that are still yet to come. I thank the Lord everyday for the blessings and trials that He has put in my life. I am thankful for everything...fake smiles to real tears. My children see that nobody and nothing comes before them. They deserve nothing less than everything. I will protect my children to no end and no longer politely eat the shit that is served to me with a fork and spoon. I give my children all I can and aim for no other role in life more important than being a great mother, friend, mentor, teacher and foundation for them to have in their lives. I demonstrate to my children what "real family" is by being there for them no matter what's going on with me. Best friends are your chosen family and we are so blessed to be surrounded by loving, healthy and stable friends that respect the decisions I make for my life and do nothing but encourage me and my children to be happy, no matter what happens.
