Neel Daniel

A native of Atlanta, Georgia Neel Daniel has been a fixture in the Seattle, Washington music scene for many years.
With over 20 album releases as a band member or studio hired gun the time was right for his first solo record.
Raised in a small Georgia town listening to the Rolling Stones, Beatles, T.Rex, David Bowie, Badfinger and other great artist of the era influenced Neel's writing style to this day.
Learning to play acoustic and electric rhythm guitar, bass guitar and drums as a youth, Neel settled in as a bass player/lead singer around the age of 15 "because everyone needed a bass player, and somebody had to sing".
Over time came the interest in playing any instrument he could find, sometimes with good results.
The influence of George Harrison grew, along with the late great Pete Ham and slide guitar became a favorite and began to find its way into more songs. Lead guitar influences such as Michael Schenker, Mick Ralphs, Mick Ronson and others found their way into his solos.
Blue Eyed Monkey, the first solo album of hopefully many was released on June 1st, 2010.
