Glen Drover, born on May 25th, 1969 in Ottawa Ontario, is a guitarist with such talent. His Progressive style seems to keep his fans in awe as they hear his unique and heavy sound. He and his brother, Shawn created their band "Eidolon" in 1993, and created their own studio for it's recording. Glen has also been in "King Diamond", for their album, "House of God" released in 2000. The one and only Dave Mustaine discovered Glen in time for the Blackmail the Universe tour('04/'05), describing him as the perfect fit for the band. It was only a year or so later, Glen made his Megadeth album debut in the 2007 release "United Abominations". He impressed the old and new Megadeth fans, with his work on stage.
Appearing in the Megadeth related DVD's, "Gigantour '05/'06" and "That One Night", Glen shows what he's got to the old and new Megadeth fans, proved himself worthy for the part. Having many known influences such as Tony Iommi, Randy Rhoads and David Gilmour, his style has made Megadeth reach a new peak in the music industry. For only being part of the great Thrash band for about 3 years, Glen shown much dedication to the fans, just as much as Dave Mustaine and the rest of the band does.
Glen has departed from Megadeth officially, January of this year.
After his departure, Glen was giving private guitar lessons in his hometown for $30 for every half hour. He is now working on his own instrumental album with Adagio's Stephan Forte, colliding with many special guest guitarists including: Jorn Viggo, Chris Poland, Jeff Waters, Chris Caffery and Jeff Young.
Glen was on tour with Testament in October 2008 for the following shows in Mexico:
27 - Monterrey, Mexico - Arena Monterrey
29 - Guadalajara, Mexico - VFG Arena
30 - Puebla, Mexico - Auditorio Siglo XXI
31 - Mexico City, Mexico - Sports Palace
