Talal Abdulrahman Ismail:

Linguist, musician and poet. Born in Mosul / Iraq, 1953 Educated in Iraq, England and USA. Studied music privately in Mosul/ Iraq in 1987 ( under the supervision of Ahmad Al-Jawadi). Emigrated to Sweden in 1991. Completed music studies at the Music Conservatory in Goteborg/Sweden, 1999 - 2000. Worked as a teacher of music at Larjedalens Culture School and Gunnareds Culture School in Sweden, 2000 – 2003. Started and led several orchestras in Sweden: Ishtar, Sumer, Solaff, Fia Choir, International Choir, International Kid Choir, etc. Participated in several orchestras: Al-Andalus, The Sunday Tea Ensemble, Euriadne, Sunday Music, IDM, etc. Participated in several CD's: Sumer, Iraq, Echo of a City, Euriadne, etc.
