In memory of CANDY MCKENZIE, 1953-2003.One of the UKs greatest vocalist/ backing vocalist. Although unrecognized by mainstream music, anyone who knows their Reggae music, from the late seventies to the double OOz would recognize Candy's unmistakable vocal style.She has worked with some of Reggae's greatest ledgends such as, Keith Hudson, Bob Marley, Lee(scratch)Perry, Aswad, Delroy Washington, The Congos, George Oban to name but a few.She also worked on a number of Blues, Jazz fusion, Funk, Soul, House, Pop & Rock acts such as Gary Moore, Go West, Leonard Cohen etc.Candy will be sadly missed by all her family & friends,but her music will live forever.......
