DJ DOMINGUEZ
Dj Dominguez, natural of Setúbal, had its the first contact with music,
with only 10 years old, through organ lessons and later piano, we can affirm that the passion for music exists since always.
As Deejay, he initiated is carrer in 2001 through private parties in the city where it inhabits, Setúbal, in the same period appears in a natural way the invitation very to be residence Dj in the Bar - Club Capitão Gancho, where he work till 2002.
Also during this period he was invited as guest to perform in other clubs. In 2002 and 2003, it initiated some residences in the B&B Bar, Point Club, Ice Club, where he had the chance to share experiences with sounding names of Portuguese dance scene, such as: Dj Fox, Rui Remix, Tânia Pascoal, Di Simmon, etc...
2003 was the start of a new page in his life, by accepting the invitation to become the residence Dj at the new Bar in Barreiro called Bar da Praia. A few weeks later he assumes the residence of the Alburrica Bar and Club Carvoaria, where once again had the opportunity to play with the Portuguese finests Deejays: Luis Leite, Miss Blondie, Geninho, Ricardo Britt, etc... He remained there for a period of 2 years.
After during 2 years he was the Residence Dj at Club Bolina(sesimbra) and keep others 3 residences at Bar Mariadelina (Meco), Club Psyko, Club Bolina (Sesimbra) and Bar B4 (former Alcool Puro) in Lisbon..
In 2007 he was the residence Dj of Estudio132, (barreiro) nomeened as the best Bar/Club at South Side of Lisbon, by the appraised Dance Club Magazine
As a guest Dj, he tries to present a musical style "sus generis", where it reigns the Elektro and the Tribal. His style and technique can be distinguished in his gigs, being truly precise of his musical evolution until the present. He had playing in some Clubs and Party’s a little across Portugal: Design Caffé, Mxl Bar, Newage Club, Spy Club and Clube do Rio (Setúbal), XL Bar, Estudio132, Club DNA and R Club (Barreiro), Ensaio (Alhos Vedros), Del Mare (Costa Caparica), Estado Chic (Corroios), Clube da Praia, Sound Planet, In Loco, Dxl (Montijo), Neptunus (Povoa St Adrião), House Klub (Loures), Loft Club (Lisboa), Bubbles (V N Mil Fontes), Forgama (Castelo Branco), Restinga Bar (Alvor), Love boat 2006, promoted by Club Dna and Estudio132, Studant mega Party ISCTE 2006 and 2007, and in the mega national event Sumol Lisbon Parade 2005. During that period he plays with many famous national and internacional Deejays, as: Dj Vibe, Silicone Soul [uk], Carlos Manaça, Dezperados, Redkone, Del Costa & Pedro Goya, Luis Leite, Miss Blondie, Di Paul, Dj Britt, Dj Fox, Tania Pascoal, Dextro, Rui Remix, Di Simmon, A Paul, Ricardo Ferro, Daveed, Jay Lopez, Pedro Gil, Dj Sphinx [marrocos], Dj Photon [polonia], etc..
Of all the events that he lately performed one that distinguished from others was organized by the Portuguese main TV channel RPT 1 in the Island of Açores, called "On Fashion Tour", where he performed with Del Costa & Pedro Goya. He played to in Cafe com Letras in Ponta Delgada.
In Radio Dj Dominguez presented 2 radio shows, the first one was "Freak My Funk" to Radio Enkalhos.com with Dj Sergio Tha Kat, dedicated to funky and ,inimal house, and the second one was "Sesimbra Clubbin" to Radio Sesimbra Fm, with Mark Soul and the RP Joao Capitulo, who was dedicated to house music, national and international dance scene.
In the summer of 2005 he initiates the project with its colleague and friend Dj Nox, named UrbanDuo , the 1º production of this two young producers/deejays "Portishead vs The Veils - The Leavers Roads" turn out to be a major success around Portugal and, receiving the support from dj's: Pete Tha Zouk, Diego Miranda, Luis Leite, Paul Rodhy, Pedro Gil, by the majors radios: Mix Fm, nove3cinco, Nova Era DJ , Radio Voz of Setúbal and Braga Radio DJ, among others, and by the greats dance tv shows: DanceTv, RtpNoite and Lusomundo Tv....
Them perdormance at ISCTE Festa do caloiro 2006, where share the cabin with Dj Vibe and Dezperados, and the 3 tour at Morocco, to play in the appraised Club Pulp, where is ussually listennig dj as Little Loiue Vega, David Penn, David Vendetta, Kurd Maverick, Eddie Thoneick, Jesse Garcia, etc, are the exemple of the sucess gotten.
