************************************************************ ************************************************************ ************************ Little Rico & the Moving Sound Company Many great albums in the rich tapestry that is Rock n’ Roll's history have been influenced by substance abuse, & the Little Rico & the Moving Sound Company radio show is no different, being presented by an inspirational & thoroughly knowledgeable host mainlining jaffa cakes & isotonic sports drinks. An ardent supporter of the ‘it seemed like a good idea at the time’ philosophy to navigating life & all its pitfalls, Little Rico & the Moving Sound Company bravely & flippantly traverse the multi-dimensional universes of the known & unknown musical galaxies like some deranged & deviant ‘new sound seeking’ version of the famous natural world explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes KBE, or perhaps something more akin to a rather skilful & belligerent mountain cosmo-goat (hence the hair on my chinny-chin-chin). The challenge: to provide the beloved & sometimes rather infrequent late night listener with a barrage of beautifully diverse sounds that set the soul on fire; to elucidate tales of the unexpected; to break on through to the dark side of the moon & drag the listener kicking & screaming along on a journey to the centre of the Ultraworld, where the huge & ever-growing brain still pulsates & rules with ambient dexterity. So please feel free to join Little Rico & the Moving Sound Company on a most excellent journey through space, time & the woods, each & every Thursday evening between the hours of 9 & 11 in the evening, live on Ribble Valley Media. ************************************************************ ************************************************************ ************************ Other than that there's not much to tell really, but here goes anyway: Failed rock star (lead singer of the could-have-been-mighty MARVELL, split due to musical differences before we got famous, the wrong way round really...hmmm...should have thought that one through a bit more first); Living in sin (although not much of it, to be honest - bloody women & their headaches!) with partner + two children (a girl aged 7, a boy aged 3 - I wouldn't be without them!); Job + mortgage - such are the necessary evils of life, I'm afraid; Burnley Football Club season ticket holder - yes, I'm a glutton for punishment; Still intend to write a book some day, was going to do it before my 35th birthday but that's been + gone some time ago - no idea about what, that seems to be the main stumbling block; Fitness freak (3 Great North Runs, 1 London Marathon, love rowing, Wado Ryu Karate (have gained purple belt, that's 2 before black), hoping to do a triathlon some day if my knees permit, or maybe the Tour De France); Fully qualified Jedi Knight (use a unique to me claret + blue lightsaber, claret to attack + blue to defend); Prone to exaggerate on occasion. ************************************************************ ************************************************************ ************************found this retro layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com Neu!
