The Rhyme And The Wheel

About Me

------------------------------------------------------------ ---

The Rhyme And The Wheel are a duo based in London. We try to make honest, original music using the limited resources available. These include a very outdated version of Cubase, a bunch of leads which fell from a speeding van in Oxford Street, a charming little Roland Edirol UA-25 preamp and a microKorg. We’ve attempted to depart from overused, standard song structures and progressions, and move in new directions paved by post-rock icons such as Explosions In The Sky and A Silver Mt Zion. These songs were recorded in room 1004 Wolfson House, London Bridge, and in true ‘lo-fi’ fashion use out of tune instruments and stolen equipment. We hope you enjoy them, and do leave a comment whatever your thoughts on the music. Criticism is very welcome, as it becomes hard to judge your own music after hearing it so often! Thanks for stopping by.. :)
