Hey everyone my name is Blake Botek. I couldn't think of a better DJ name so I used my last name and it has stuck with me ever since. I have always listened to techno music going way back to high school. I started off listening to trance and stuff like that but I have always liked the weird stuff in music like Slipknot and some Death Metal bands so I was looking up music one day and found some old Scoot Brown stuff.......It blew my mind.....It was fast and bad ass and since that day I have loved Hardcore :D
I started DJ'n in the winter of 05' when I went over to my friends house and one of his roomates Evan "Evilsbane" had some turntables. He would play for hours and I would watch close to learn things until one day he was like "dude, you wanna try?" So I did on some of his old ass house music at like 130bpm and just kept with it until I went to HappyHardcore.com and bought some records.... Fukin AMS - Go insane and DJ Seduction - Raise Your Hands up In the Air lol....and since that day I have been buying records and Mp3's like an addict...
I played on turntables for a long time but then for christmas I got a laptop and along with it Virtual DJ :D I still love the feel of vinyl but the computer is soo much more fun... you get to see the whole song and where the break will be and I'm not gonna lie...it makes mixing a helluva lot easier and smoother...Even though it is the lazy way...I can still rock a fukin house!!!
I have played mainly house parties and raves but I would really love to see Oklahoma or some surrounding states (within driving distance lol) get a hardcore scene going... Well thats about it lol remember... Hardcore Till I Fukin DIE!!! H.T.I.F'n.D
