Losers

About Me

We all need LOSERS .
Eddy Temple-Morris and Tom Bellamy are Losers.
Eddy is the Xfm radio legend responsible for the corruption of thousands of former rockers, slipping a pill into their collective pints and seducing them onto the dance floor until dawn.

Tom is a keyboard, FX pedal and guitar legend whose perfect cheekbones and wild techno-noise could be seen and heard on stage right of a Cooper Temple Clause gig for many years.
Together, they remix and produce music at Tom's resedential studio, Bellamy Towers, or 'the Fortress Of Ultimate Darkness', just outside Reading in Berkshire, England. They have remixed lots of artists and are almost finished working on their debut album, 'Beautiful Losers', which features Brian Molko , Pablo Decoder , Riz MC and Envy
.. What do they sound like? Picture a twin headed beast of Liam Howlett and Soulwax Nite Versions taking Teenage Badgirl Up the arse at Leftfield's house , while Kissy Sellout watches and plays with himself in a Phones T-shirt, simultaneously on a mobile phone conference call with Justice and Pendulum.
Killing In The Name has been Eddy's signature tune closing legendary sets at Glade Festival, Manumission, Razzmatazz, Secret Garden, Es Paradis and on tour with The Prodigy. This slice of Pendulum/Mr Oizo inspired genius is the best thing Tommy and Eddy have ever done...and they've done a lot. There are only 500 promo copies of this end of set bomb, guaranteed to leave a crater the size of Hiroshima on any dancefloor.
REVIEWS OF LOSERS RAGE
EQ MAGAZINE
The original is a track you'll hear from time to time during a club set, changing the mood from eyes-down to hands-in-the-air to head-banging. The Losers (the inappropriate name of XFM champion DJ Eddie Temple-Morris and Tom Bellamy , formerly of the Cooper Temple Clause) have brought the original into a more palatable format for the dancefloor , and that means one thing: more head-banging in clubland! Remixing tunes like this is always a risky business – do it poorly and you'll be accused of sacrilege, do it well and your up for the same treatment. However, there’s a definite sympathy and understanding of the original here that seems to keep all who hear it (even the post-emo section) happy. It certainly keeps me happy as I can now say the F-word over and over again and feel like I'm an 18-year-old rebel again. Brilliant stuff.

Rage Against the Machine “Killing in the name(Losers Mix)/Gossip “Listen Up” (Losers rmx) Half Inch Recordings Eddy Temple Morris (XFM) and Tom Bellamy are the Losers. Already mashing up some excellent remixes such this is a nice surprise. Keeping the high energy of the original RATM track, this switches tempo between angry brooding hip hop and near drum and bass speed ... Gotta respect the uniqueness. The second version of the remix is far more dancefloor orientated, whilst retaining the punk sounds. “Gossip” is a melting pot of styles, with electro, breaks and punk rock all colliding. Big sparks on the dancefloor.
LOSERS VS CANDI STATON VIDEO!

ONE WEEK TO LIVE
Having no shame whatsoever when it comes to the practice of sonic reconstructive surgery, Eddy Temple-Morris gives headbanging a go. Partnering fellow Loser Tom Bellamy , ETM’s keen, opportunist ear stokes up Zach de la Rocha’s antagonism levels . He does so with a skilfully, subtly installed dance music jump. ‘Killing…’ reaches the point where labelling it as a fully recognised dance remix is completely wrong. It’s an out-and-out rock rebuilding , devotedly keeping to the original while tweaking with soft hands. For those wanting to keep their head rather than lose it in a baying moshpit, an electro-speared renovation of The Gossip’s ‘Listen Up’ should suffice. This one is more of an overhaul, though the group’s disco-punk jangling arrives bang on time.
