D’ANDRE A.K.A SINGA BOI

D’Andre Bennett was born on June 2 in Marietta, GA. Coming from a family filled with music and talent music was always in D’Andre’s blood. His uncles Lenard Brown and Marty Brown we apart of the group The Controllers, Marty being the drummer and Lenard one of the lead vocalist it was only right that the talent carried on. D’Andre was always musically inclined singing and playing drums in his church since the age of 10. D’Andre was apart of a group title 7even founded by Bryant Marshall. From the ages of 8 through 10 D’Andre was the lead singer of this group until it disbanded in 2000 after two of the boys moved away. After 7even was over with D’Andre really never took singing seriously again. He began playing football and really began to excel in it while still playing the drums. All the way through middle school and high school D’Andre’s focus was solely on football and getting a scholarship until one day he sung in front of his class for a project and everyone was blown away by his vocal skills. Then one day while he was at work he ran into a friend by the name of Brian Elmore a.k.a K-City who was a producer. A few days later K-City came to his house and gave him a track. D’Andre had the track written within 20 minutes and recorded it the next week. He did not know this would only be the beginning of his music journey. After recording the track he took it to school and everyone was loving it. Girls and guys walking down the hallways singing the song, it really created a buzz for D’Andre and he really became known around the area. After the success of his first single “I Don’t Wanna Hear” he began recording track after track improving his vocal and writing skills. Finally in his senior year he decided that music was the path for him, quitting the football team and starting to perform locally. Under K-City’s label Heat Klinik Musik Group, D’Andre began to flourish and potential was seen by a lot of people. Now D’Andre is in full force headstrong for his musical success. Just recently he’s done two huge shows, a show in Anaheim, California for Best Buy totaling attendance of 2800, and Minneapolis, Minnesota performing for Best Buy Corporate office totaling attendance 3000, and also landing and opportunity to write and produce a song for Best Buy in possible use for a commercial. D’Andre is a humble hard working young man who desires to leave his imprint in the industry, not just musically, but also for the advancement of technology and the future of record labels. With his unique sound and ability to arrange words and incredible dancing ability truly sets him aside from a lot of up and coming artist. “Stand for something or fall for anything, never let anyone steal your integrity.”
