Pimp-A-Lot is a collective of mostly young rap artists and producers from
the city of Aarhus in Denmark.
Since 2002 they have steadily been putting out dirty south style hip hop,
which has over the years spawned successful solo careers for many of the
artist. They have introduced the dirty south style to the Danish hip
hop-audience, who before Pimp-A-Lot were mostly used to straight up east or
west coast hip hop.
As of this moment, the dirty south style of Pimp-A-Lot crew is dominating
the Danish charts and inspiring lots of new artists from all over Denmark to
dig a little deeper and get to know the style by listening to the American
originators.
On stage Pimp-A-Lot is a party unlike most other shows. More than twenty
live rappers and DJs delivering hits endlessly. Their fanbase is steadily
growing bigger, and in their home town af Aarhus, they pull a lot af people
