On June 7th 2008, we launched the first service for Vertical Encounter Church in Southfield, MI! We have had many supporters of our evangelistic approach to ministry for the last year now. But we were are overwhelmed at the love and support that has come to support the start of a continual work in Detroit and it's outlining suburbs.Vertical Encounter Ministries is an orgnization established by the Holy Spirit to create an atmosphere where his genuine presence is manifested, thus creating an avenue for him to directly connect with the lives and hearts of people who are open to him. The foundation of Vertical Encounter Ministries is sincere worship and the embrace of the the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and ALL that the cross represents: loving not our lives unto death, taking up our cross and following him, and living the life of a servant who seeks not his own, but that which is the Father's.
