About Me

I tend to go the oddball way about things. I pushed myself and did the four year plan at Georgia Tech, I spent about two years doing engineering consulting work for several nuclear power plants around the country, and then at 24 I decided to take a sebatical and spend some time wandering through the woods by myself.
I finished the Appalachian trail after a fun five months of insanity, and have since more or less reassimilated myself into civilization. The "real world" pretty much sucks in comparison to those 159 days of insane bliss and beauty. It amazes me the ignorance that people have, the things they take for granted, and the trivial things that consume their lives.
I'm back into the power plant engineering work thing, and even though it's nice having the positive cash flow I could go for some more traveling. In the mean time I've got a few great friends to distract me when work gets boring, and I'm almost always up for a little adventure to help keep things interesting
