About Me

The Osta Sessions were established and ran through the summer in Sligo in 2007. In the Intimate surroundings of the Osta Cafe the Sessions provided a showcase of musical talent. Promoting talent from within the North West and offering an opening to play to acts from other corners. The session hosted two or three acts playing early in the evening on a Saturday night unplugged and acoustic. Hosted by local Singer/songwriter Wayne o Connor, they kicked off at 7.30 until 9.30 with each act getting about 40 minutes. The OSTA SESSIONS have returned in the run up to Xmas 2008 to host a series of gigs. The Lineup for November/December is this: NOVEMBER 29th RED BRICK HOUSE DECEMBER 6th MISTER TEA AND THE BISCUITS DECMBER 13th JACK POPE DECEMBER 20th FELIX SONNYBOY WILSONCome along and support us!
