About Me

Yes, yes indeed. My names Nick, I'm a music major at SBCC. Music is my passion, my one true love. I love to perform live with the few groups I play with here in SB, The Lee Brothers Band in particular. We play parties so if you're havin' one we would love to be there =) Seriously though, just lookin to meet laid back people. Peace & Love!

My Interests

My biggest passion is music. I love playing and writting music. Just me and the old guitar is all i need for a good time, and hey...a couple beers never hurt either. I try to spend good quality time outside, hiking, kicking it at the beach.

I'd like to meet:

Laid back people with good vibes.

Music:

Everything from Creedence Clearwater to Cannibal Corpse, Miles Davis to Meshuggah, Allman Brothers to Autechure. Im just a music person. I down with most everything but i have to say that i love heavy metal and classic rock/jam bands like The Grateful Dead and The Band (who seem to have been forgotten over the years but those guys are true legends.) Good metal: Morbid Angel, Judas Priest, Carcass, Pantera (RIP Dimebag) Behemoth, Slayer, Entombed, Cannibal corpse, Meshuggah, Portal, Six Feet Under, Ozzy, Dimmu Borgir, Cryptopsy, Metallica Good jazz: Chick Corea, Miles Davis, Al DiMeola, Stanley Clarke, John McLaughlin, Dave Brubeck, Wes Montgomery, Pat Martino, Pat Metheny Good Rock: Tool, Porcupine Tree, Alice in Chains, Primus, Hendrix, AC/DC, Rush, Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Modest Mouse, A Perfect Circle, The Mars Volta, Rage Against the Machine, Karate

Movies:

the only movie i actually own is half-baked cause i got it for 5 bucks. Not that its not a great movie or anything, i just dont buy movies, but here are a few of my favs: Blues Brothers (greatest chase scene of all time), Apocolypse Now, Blade Runner, Pulp Fiction ...and when im blazed Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is a must.

Television:

try not to watch mutch tv... im gonna risk sounding like an old man here but i think it really does harm you to watch much tv. i read a study somewhere that said that children who grow up with a television in their room are more likely to get into drugs and unhealthy behaviors. Who knows if thats true but maybe that explains a couple things about me....

Heroes:

Bob Dylan, who is one of the great poets of our time. I was lucky enough to see him last time he performed here in Santa Barbara. Also i would mention Paramahansa Yogananda for the Self Realization Fellowship that he created. I just think thats a great thing.
