About Me

Watching Borat and Azamat Bagatov wrestle in the hotel room has to be one of the funniest things i have seen in a very long time -- i laughed so hard i almost choked.I love to laugh and love to quote silly lines from old SNL sketches and comedies. I am addicted to video games especially 4 player games with friends. As I grow up I prefer a “playdate” over hitting the Abbey to get smashed or Fiesta’s 2 for 1. I think steak with mashed potatoes is the best food combination in the world. I can’t function without my grande drip from Starbucks. I am learning that it’s ok to release control and live life on faith. I believe more and more everyday that life works itself out and there is reason behind everything. I was raised catholic and went to private school but have learned that having faith is not based on golden candlesticks and the 5 o’clock mass. I moved out to LA 7 years ago and have accomplished more than I ever thought I would. I am truly blessed with the most amazing family and friends anyone could dream of. I believe in the “one” and have remained single until I meet him. I am a hopeless romantic. I say things for comic effect and sometimes that isn’t so nice. I am mesmerized by the ocean and love to swim but I am petrified sharks. I have gone skinny dipping in the ocean once and would gladly do it again with the right guy. =) I will scream like a small child if I see a medium – large hairy spider. If that is deemed to be too “feminine” then I am forced to draw one conclusion from that – internalized homophobia. I believe we posses equal parts of masculinity and femininity. I understand attraction to “butch” guys but that doesn’t mean the effeminate guys should be ridiculed – they were the ones who fought back first at Stonewall after all. That said, without them we would still be looking for blue lights in back alleys to find a “gentlemen’s” club and places like Weho, Greenwich Village, Chelsea and the Castro would only exist in our imaginations. I love to travel to historically rich places and learn about their history. I admire urban architecture especially in areas of NYC. I often imagine what places were like without cars, technology and over-population. I think gravity is pretty cool. I can get lost staring up at the stars in the sky on a clear night. I think we all need to do our part to reduce global warming and the melting Arctic region. I like to discover new music that isn’t top 40 but also love listening to 98.7 or 93.1 on the radio. I love to rediscover tunes that I forgot about. If I find a song I like I will play it over and over again. I think therapy is underrated and is like getting your brain massaged. I can be judgmental and opinionated at times but I am learning acceptance. I love emotional growth and I understand myself more each day. I think it's cool to say, "please" and "thank you.” I think common courtesy is something that should come back in style. I think people who request to be added as a "friend" without messaging are lame. I think people who don't reply to messages are lame too. =P I strive to be a good person. I would do anything for someone I care about and believe that loyalty is paramount.“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” -Dr. Seuss

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The one. He is a completely out, 30 something, monogamy-capable, non-druggie guy interested in and ready for a serious relationship.
