About Me

My name is Dan, and I have a commitment. A commitment to a glorious vision in which mostly ficticious individuals can lay their differences and affiliations aside and come together. Heroes can take a break from do-goodery, robot smashery, and team member sexery, villains can step away from the construction of their giant drills, moon cannons, and overly complicated hero killing plots, anti-heroes can delay their hunt for the guys who physically altered them against their will and killed their love interest only to find out later that they hadn't really killed her but altered her too and now she's a badass android out for blood, and they can all partake in one purpose: to lift their fists, claws, tentacles or hooks proudly and defiantly in one unified yellow #5 passion. They can gaze upon the new day and see the opportunity that lies within, and while doing so - they can gnash their teeth proudly against the puffed corn texture of brotherhood and feel the milk of unity dribbling down their collective chin. I say unto you, weary traveler of the digital highway.... LET THEM EAT CEREAL! .. Ok, that's it, now just go look at the pictures. .. Don't have a Myspace account? I'd like to meet:

Comic artists who will send me cereal sketches so that I can post them here and on my wall! HA! Seriously, I swear I'm not nearly so blunt. The truth is, this page is for people who enjoy comics and comic art to come and see the collection and see how kind, generous, and creative various artists have been when humoring my rather silly requests. I've had great experiences dealing w/ people in the comic industry, and I'd really like to thank eveyone who has shared time, talent, and conversation with me. You all rock! .. If anyone does wish to add to the collection, please feel free to do so via e-mail, and if you'd like to send the hard copy, please let me know and we'll work out the details w/ regards to shipping and whatnot. .. I'm going to be trying to obtain some related work from comic writers as well by asking them to write a page for me in the same format that the artist views it involving a character or characters eating cereal (similar to the old Hostess ads for example). I'll then take this piece to the next con I attend and see if I can find an artist willing to add their talent to it - creating a matched set between the writer and artist. The point of all that is, If you're a writer and you'd like to send something along, please feel free to do so as well! .. If anyone has pics/scans of cereal boxes that include comic book characters and you'd like to send them for me to post, please do! .. super hero cereal
