About Me

Ok, my Biographie... 1976 I began to learn playing the guitar. 1978 I learned Bass and in 1979 I played Bassguitar in a New Wave Formation called "Iron Spring" . The Band broke up in 1983. The Band Leader "Jason" went to Frankfurt and made some records with his new Punk and Wave Bands and currently, last years he plays again with "Three o..clock heroes" and now with "Bornheim Bombs" .One year later with new musicians I founded the Progressive-Rock..n Roll Formation "Kowalski City Band" . In this Band I could realize a lot of ideas and I was writing a lot of songs for K.C.B.. We have built a little music studio and if I had time, I was sitting on the instruments and played new songs on the tape. I had experimented and tried new sounds and influenced the music style of the band. Some musicians left the band and others joined. 1989 we were seven musicians and we had a lot of success with our concerts in south part of Germany and east Part of France. In 1993 I left the band because I lived in the near of Frankfurt and back then, it was to far to make music with the band. In my new house I..ve built a little studio and now I can begin with new work...

It is three years older than the "White horse..."- The titles are "We believe in Future" and "The Lady with the golden hair" written by Tilo Geiser in 1985. Medley "Radio Video Show" and "Running with the devil" composed by T. Geiser, M. Kowalski, A. Lasch and Jogis World 1985. Re-recorded by Jogis World 2008.
Influences: Doubtlessly, the Progressive and Art Rock genre had the most influence on my music. One of my favorites are Mike Oldfield . Especially, his old style from the seventies and eighties of the last century. I 'm fascinated of his kind to play the guitar. Another Band is the successful german progressive Band "Eloy" . I love their work on complex albums. Klaus Peter Matziol and his kind to play the bass has influenced me and brought a lot of ideas to play the bass in the bands. Another influence comes from Queen, Pink Floyd and Genesis. Now a new time has begun, other bands and a lot of new musicians are in the world. I love music and listen a lot of other music, too. From Jazz and World Musician "Jan Garbarek" to "Ozzy Osbourne..s" Heavy music. From "Madonna" to "Dido" and New Wave from "Joe Jackson" to "Franz Ferdinand". Celtic Rock from "Runrig" to "Loreena Mc..Kennitt"....
