About Me

I am a singer songer writer producer type who is fortunate enough to still be making music, releasing albums and touring despite limited industry success, a family to support, and supposedly being 37.I have this one weird white hair that grows out of my beard. I have a weird scar on my arse from falling on a chunk of glass while playing football as a kid. Americans who don't like curry who have also never really sat down and tried it are to be pitied for the sad void in their lives When I told my children they will be thrown out the nearest window if they didn't behave, they laughed at me, so now the threat quotient raises exponentially as they get older, however, so does the laughter at my expense. Baskin Robbins chocolate and peanut butter ice cream is the best choco/pb combo ever made. Other parents are my least favorite demographic, they freak me out and make me uncomfortable. Favorite wine is Shiraz, favorite beer is Franziskaner Weissbier, favorite vodka is Ketel 1, favorite tequila is Patron Silver, and favorite whiskey-type-spirit is Jamesons. I love New York city because it is physically impossible to slack off there. Chicago is my home 4 life, but has turned its back on the middle class and become a shameful whore. LA always makes me feel like there's a party going on that I wasn't invited to. Montreal is my favorite north american city. I was deeply troubled upon viewing the movie "She's the Man." Being force-fed childrens programming for the last few years, I found solace in the incomparable comedic talent of Amanda Bynes and expected so much better than her horrible impersonation of a male in that terrible movie. I have watched "Loose Change" a few times, and while I firmly believe that certain American illuminati types were indeed informed as well as complicit in the 9/11 attacks, I cannot believe that the government perpetrated the entire thing. If I truly believed that, truly, I don't think I could raise my children in this country. There is a song by U2 called "Treasure: whatever happened to Pete the Chop". It is the greatest song they ever wrote and recorded, but even though it was released as the B-side to "New Years Day" it never made a single B-side or rareties collection the band ever released. To this day if I ever got to meet Bono, it is the only thing I would be compelled to ask him about. My daughter came up with our families' greatest personal slogan: I love you when I hate you. Contemporary music is a drag. I have often wondered if this view is the same as earlier generations as they get older. I have thought on this over and over and over... and then i realize that no, today's contemporary music is truly awful. Except for Cracknation bands ;)

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Bono, so I could ask him about that damn song. I would have now said Jack Dangers, but I was fortunate enough to finally meet him a week ago, and it was thrilling. So that would leave Eugene Jarvis (creator of Robotron 2084), Sarah Chalke (Elliot from Scrubs) Henry Rollins, and Judd Apatow.
