I am a long term resident of Hazzard County! I grew up in Alberton/Daniels Area til the flood. From there we moved to Ellicott City in a new neighborhood! I attended the local schools and graduated from Mt. Hebron. From there I attended Maryland Insitute, down town and started my business.. Jack of Arts, Studio. From back woods and back roads taking what ever job that came along just to survive. I also played music, what great artist doesn't play music right?..lol. The fiddle came callin to me, I am a self taught musican. With time and patience you can take yourself beyond limits and do what ever you set out to do. After years of fiddling around and crap jobs. I got alittle hole in the wall shop out in Marriottsville. The truckers became my livelyhood. Gotta love a pretty truck, and those fellas sure did! On a Saturday morning in April I stopped by to say hello to a trucker who's motorcycle I had painted. Well he wasn't home but his daughter sure was..lol and wouldn't you know it after a cazy courtship, she became my wife! I found a gal that loves trucks, tractors and the smell of diesel, can you believe that!! We have 4 kids, Sheena, Casey, Ellie and Chuckie and 1 granddaughter, Angel. Each one of them kids had their first ride on a scooter & tractor by the age of 9 months! It wasn't long before them kids where popping in the truck heading to shows too! Now things are changing.. I have a new shop that is in the process of being built. My kids are older following their lifes direction. I do hope that it will bring them back to the "family" business! I'll always have a place there for them. Funny 30 years ago I never thought the word family business would happen, Jack of Arts was a "one" man show! Now I have 1 more man working at the shop "Joe" they don't get any better than this upstanding young man. Well thats the story of me kinda sorta....
