I’m a 59 year “old†(well ….I can still be viewed in broad daylight ?) happily divorced Dutch woman who is NOT, I repeat NOT looking for a serious relationship, marriage, love of her life, knight on white horse, or whatever (been there/done that, but the knight’s armor tarnished and his horse was cripple), but that doesn’t mean I turned bitter. On the contrary! I still believe in myself, even ‘though I experienced quite a few “disappointments†during the past 10 years (and I’m not even talking about my love life), but I also got a second chance, meaning health and life, and that’s all that matters, right? Some people don’t get that lucky, so I backed up and regrouped, and am grateful for things I used to take for granted before. I’m also the proud mother of a son, who is now 26, and although he no longer lives in my house, he’s still and always will be the main man in my life.
