I eat , sleep and breathe music. maybe thats why im always hungry,tired and asthmatic. Started out as a drummer for a punk band called DURANGO 95. Toured with some of the biggest names in punk ( Iggy Pop, 999,Teenage head .........when they were good).Went right to a metal band called BLIND VENGEANCE, missed the first rehearsal got a band beating by my soon to be good friend Harry Hess. Went to college for a few laughs. Met Harry again started demos for Harem Scarem. Joined harem Scarem in 1988, got signed to Warner Music in 1990. Toured the world had fun. Shits and giggles all around. All the while i was writing and recording with a band called Juice. Completed two cds with Juice. Quit went solo . Recorded a solo record under BLACK STAR Germany had the horse nuts to call the record THE DARREN SMITH BAND. Pissed me off but im here , ther there. Been writing with everyone i can. Penned some gems and some stinkers. Hoping to have a cd done with my cover band LIVE SEX SHOW. Been playing oodles of bars with my freinds to the point of redundancy in BIG WILLY BALLZ DEEP LIVE SEX SHOW HELIX.........well arent they really just a cover band RED EYE.....sleep well Bruno JONNY QUEST VELVET TUSK THE BOOGIEMEN BLACK DIAMOND So i feel ive paid my dues.....actually im owed some back!!!!!!!!!!!!
