ANOTHER DIMENSION

"Another Dimension" was formed by Andy Martin and Andy S, after being inspired by artists such as Classix Nouveaux, ELO and Karel Fialka. Both had previously been involved in other bands and had briefly met and performed together in a short lived band called "Court Of Darkness". The two Andy's decided to team up and work together as a synth-pop duo, which eventualy became Another Dimension. They were lucky enough to get to support a couple of major artists, and their following grew. The boys appeared live on the National UK Radio 1 Roadshow at Carlyon Bay in St.Austell and performed 2 dates on the "Swatch Euro Roadhow" in conjunction with MTV. They were filmed performing their debut single "All about you", which was later shown on MTV. Despite all this, Another Dimension was short lived and the boys decided to part company and each go their own way in the music world. In 1992 Andy Martin teamed up with new frontman vocalist Jon C and went on to perform and record under the name of "Audio-genik". A new album was recorded and the boys achieved minor club success with their promotional track "America". The band recorded two studio albums under the original line up: "Destiny", produced by Kevin Bate in 1987 and "Into Another Dimension" produced by Rob Best in 1990. The self titled "Audiogenik" album was produced by Dave Brinkworth in 1992/1993. Andy Martin has continued writing and recording under the name of Another Dimension. He has also worked with Liverpool's Rob Burrows (who is guest vocalist on the track "Sea of Love", which is to be featured on the forthcoming new album). The new Another Dimension album "A higher state of consciousness" is near completion and is planned to be released in 2009. A further album "The 7th System Chronicles" is also being worked on and is planned to be available in 2010. We'll keep you updated with all the relevant info.
