About Me

Angelizer est un groupe originaire de Toulouse, formé en 2007 par trois amis : Rémy (bassiste de Fornication & Human Flesh) Storm (guitariste de Human Flesh) et enfin l’écrivain Sire Cédric. Le groupe est complété par le guitariste Alex (de Fornication) ainsi que Boris, ex-batteur du groupe E-Force.
Leur envie est toute simple : jouer du death metal à la fois brutal et mélodique, dans la veine de groupes tels que Arch Enemy, Behemoth ou encore Dark Tranquillity. Les compositions sont assurées par Rémy, et les textes par Cédric.
Un premier CD 4 titres est enregistré au home studio Ipsos Laacdun (Toulouse) et sort en mars 2008 sous le titre « Poison Dreams » sur le label associatif New Death Records.
Mars 2008 marque également le début des concerts pour ce jeune groupe. À cette occasion c’est Sylvain (Lyndwurm Orphans) qui assure le clavier live.
Courant Avril 2009, Alex ayant décidé de se diriger vers d'autres horizons musicaux, c'est Christian qui lui succèdera au poste de guitariste soliste.

Angelizer is band from Southern France, founded in early 2007 by three friends : bassist Rémy (Fornication, Human Flesh) guitarist Storm (Human Flesh) and the French splatterpunk writer Sire Cédric. They recruit second guitarist Alex (also from Fornication) drummer Boris (ex E-Force) and Sylvain (Lyndwurm Orphans) for live keyboards.
Angelizer plays melodic death metal, in the vein of bands such as Arch Enemy, Behemoth or Dark Tranquillity. The music is composed by Rémy and the lyrics are writen by Cédric.
Their debut CD, entitled « Poison Dreams », was recorded at the Ipsos Laacdun studio (Toulouse) and was released in march 2008, on New Death Records.
