I'm a 1966 Volkswagen Beetle. I was built at the factory in Wolfsburg Germany, but was sent to America a couple months later. I first stayed at a dealership in Illinois where me and some other VWs were sold. Luckily I wasn't there very long and went to live with the Edmunds family in Missouri. I lived with them for a long time, I can't tell you the exact day I left, but I was bought one day at an auction by Mr. George Beckman. I wasn't exactly a new car anymore, so Mr. Beckman wanted to restore me to a new condtion. But he never got around to it, so I mainly just sat around for a long time until he sold me. Now I am owned by Tyler. He wants to restore me when he can afford it. But till then he just drives me like I am. He takes me to a lot of car shows and stuff like that, but I like it best when we drive around to nowhere in particular.
