Started out as an idea of a band that should play cool garage rock covers when singer Arne Thelin and drummer Bulle spent some time drinking together in New York City in 89 when their bands The Cosmic Dropouts and Matchstick Sun were attending a music seminar. Back home in Norway they recruited pals Erik Hovde on guitar and organ wiz Sjur Fladager of Peau De Peche and former The Cosmic Dropouts bassplayer Carsten Johansen.
Arne Thelin quit the gig as a singer with The Cosmic Dropouts and the band became 1 for all members and they soon wrote their own material. Wild gigs at Oslo's cool rock hideouts "Last Train" and "RockAll" are fond memories from the people attending. This line-up recorded their first 7"EP released only as a promo-only on Arne Thelins label That's Entertainment Records as NOW-02. Carsten Johansen was after a number of incidents on "Den Runde Tønne" or "Den Ovale Bøtte" as Carsten remembers it as... (Now housing cool the rock club Café Mono) replaced by youngster Rolf Yngve Uggen, who worked with Bulle and Arne at Oslo's coolest, now defunct, record store "Rock Shop".
Rolf Yngves first gig was at the releaseparty of the 7" Promo on Elm Street Rock Club in Oslo may 1990.
to be continued....
