There are many reasons to like a song. The beat, the fret work, the voice, the hook or the person singing it. Every song has a listener, every listener has a story the song belongs to. I write about what I feel, see, think, hope not to forget, loved ones, missed ones, babies, my dog, good times and bad times and everything in between. I believe life should have a soundtrack. I think people should feel outloud instead of bottling it up. Sing along to your favorite song and build the soundtrack of your life. Share it with loved ones so when they hear the songs of your life soundtrack they will think of you and smile. Thank you for visiting and I hope I can be part of your soundtrack-ChadLatest reviewS of "Ride Back To Your Heart" on GarageBand.com- FOLKSY FEEL- I like the simplicity of the song--got my foot tapping. The melody and lyrics are universal so they resonate with the listener. The vocals sound honest and authentic and believable. Nice job!HAPPY AND CUTE- First, the guitars are adorable. It's one of those innocent sounds that match the vocals well. The rhythm overall is a nice, light one. The melody isn't as hook oriented as I'd like, but it is cute, so I think this song has great potential.Overall, this was a great song. It's happy and light.SIMPLISTIC SIMPLICITY- Love the opening with just the ukelelee/mandolin?The simplicity of his voice is fantastic and it has a great tone to it. The melody is catchy and sticks with me while tapping my toes, thanks to the wonderful simplistic rhythm.Well done!ISLAND MUSIC- This has a pleasant little melody that is reminiscent of Jack Johnson and his kind of island music. It has a laid back, sing along style that could be as easily heard on a beach as it could be heard in a coffee shop. I dig the hook about just needing to "find a ride back to your heart." Easily remembered and catchy. The song itself is pretty basic and that is the point. Long live the singer songwriter.PAINTS A GREAT PICTURE- I don't know why I shouldn't comment on the production, it sounds better than most stuff I hear on this sight (that was recorded in a studio) and it sounds like it was recorded with only one mic! very intimate sound with great lyrics. this sounds likes a song that would be playing in a movie where the main character discovers that he/she still loves the person they left and then goes on a journey to get them back, especially the "got to get a ride back to you heart"... totally hitchhiking in Colorado to get back to California to be with your baby that you should have forgave for doing you wrong or to plead for her/him to take you back.VERY CATCHY- I like what you did with this song. You found something simple and catchy and stuck with it. It sounds great with just acoustic and vocals. It's a fun and simple melody that kept my toe tapping from begining to end. I'm reminded of Jack Johnson when I hear it. Excellent song!Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Melody.SIMPLE BUT PRETTY- The melody is simple enough and wouldn't be that compelling on its own, but the harmonies created by the guitar really bring it to life. The simple rhythm of the guitar works well to drive the song.
