Founded in the 1940’s by Wyoming Native Andy Gifford, Rodeo Heritage is one of the oldest bucking horse breeding programs in the United States. For nearly seventy years, Rodeo Heritage has been producing top notch NFR and PRCA bucking horses and bulls. One of the most famous bucking horses originated on the Gifford Ranch was Come Apart who was the first bareback horse “ever†to be inducted in the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame. Come Apart was a former saddle horse of Andy Giffords before he began bucking him.Current horses going down the road raised by us are: Jack The Knife of Bennie Butlers, Red Wasp of Stace Smiths(Full Brother to Empty Saddles), Roan Wasp of Jerry Nelsons, Way Ward Wind of Bennie Butlers, and several others.
