I was born and raised in a small town in Ohio. After college I realized my dreams were larger than the town limits could handle so I packed up and moved to Florida in 2001. The majority of my time (50 hours a week) is spent at work where I manage the field office of one of the state's largest contracting companies. I have also been running a fairly successful Avon business for the last 10 years. On the weekends I can either be found Jeeping through the Ocala National Forest, laying on Ft. Myers Beach with my family, or tossing around the baseball with Rich and the boys.Rich and I met on Myspace a little more than a year ago. We were together for 9 months when he decided to give his ex-wife another chance for the sake of their 2 boys. When that didn't work out he asked if we could give our relationship another try and we've been back together ever since. It isn't always easy, no one ever said love was, but it's definitely worth it. No one "gets" me like he does or can make me laugh when I don't really feel like it quite like him. We have an amazing understanding and appreciation for each other. Not to mention his hugs are the best of anyone I've ever met!! We are each other's best friend and I can't imagine my life without him in it.Being the Mid-Western girl that I am, I love taking care of my family and home. I bought the house in 2005 and the list of things I'd like to do to it is never ending. I'm one of those women who actually enjoys cleaning the house and doing laundry. I love the challenge of a new recipe and am very good at budgeting the finances for the household. I have a bit of a green thumb and if it weren't for the Florida "soil" I'd have a much larger garden than I do.
