..........
Following on from the success of last year's release, Classic Reggae Grooves Vol. 1, "Thinking About You", The Charles Family and friends returns with a second album of new material.
Featuring guest appearances from the internationally acclaimed Madeline Bell and local West London stars Ron King and Alani.

............................................................
...........This new album is a fusion of reggae, hip-hop, r'n'b, or we may say, "Ska ‘n’ b".
With Madeline Bell's beautiful r’n’b style vocal on the unique, laidback ska rhythms,
Ron King's rootsy vibes, Alani's pure vocal, and the new generation of the Charles Family, (Tyrone, Tahirah and Sirach's) coming through with their vibrant vocals leading the music. The result is a record with a unique silky smooth feeling of fresh grooves.
A lover's rock album for the 21st century.

Composed of six brothers and sisters, Tyrone (a.k.a. ‘Nato’), Naeem (a.k.a. ‘Charlie’), Tahirah (a.k.a.’ Sweet T’), Sirach (a.k.a.’Angel’), Sariah a.k.a. ‘Serious’), and Akelle (a.k.a.’ A-Star’). They are the third generation of musicians in this legendary Shepherd's Bush family and were the subject of a BBC primetime documentary in 2005, in which they were filmed showcasing their talents around the country.

...........Madeline Bell-
Hugely successful U.S recording artist and friend of the Charles Family, Madeline has offered her beautiful voice to four tracks on the album. Madeline was a top US billboard artist, her most famous recording being "Melting Pot". She was also session singer most notably with Dusty Springfield and was a member of the band “Blue Minkâ€, which had a number of top 20 hits in the UK during the late Sixties and early Seventies. She continues to record her own work. Madeline Bell is still active on the entertainment circuit. She recently appeared at the World Famous Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club in the West End, London. Madeline Bell also just happens to be one of Prince Charles's favourite singers.

A Nicaraguan singer and self-taught guitarist, who has performed all over Europe and has recorded three albums to date. One of his albums soon to be released is entitled “Wise from the Heartâ€. “Rock This Musicâ€, a track from his forthcoming album he performs on “Overwhelmedâ€.
Ron King combines reggae, rocksteady, and ska, as well as beats he has picked up from his travels to create songs about his life and shared consideration of people, in the
'One Love' vein.

............................................................
...........Alani-
Rising young star and a highly creative artist. For the first time here, she lends her beautiful voice to many of the backing vocals on the ‘Overwhelmed’ album. She also sings a duet with Sirach, which they co-wrote and a cover of the classic "Keep It Like It Is".
She is currently working on her own musical project.
