Comencé en esto del folk hace unos 10 años. Entoces "maltocaba" la guitarra. Un par de años más tarde conocí a Jorge Mochales y Luis Barbolla, miembros de Brenga Astur, juntos iniciamos un proyecto de música castellana. Al poco tiempo, me interesé por el bouzouki y tras adquirir uno, comencé a tocar como miembro habitual de Brenga Astur (con los que sigo tocando actualmente).

En 2001 cogí mi primera gaita asturiana :D Aprendí de la mano de Pindy, uno de los gaiteros de Brenga. A partir de 2003 comencé a formar parte de la banda de gaitas La Tayuela de Mecer con la que continúo tocando actualmente.

En 2005, me animé con un instrumento que llevaba tiempo llamándome la atención: la flauta travesera de madera! Me inicié en este instrumento a finales del mismo año con un modelo de plástico cutre....y hasta hoy!
Actualmente participo en un trío de música irlandesa, Shymen .

I began with this style of music around 10 years ago. Then I was "misplaying" the guitar. A couple of years after, I met Jorge Mochales and Luis Barbolla, flute and bass player from Brenga Astur : we started a new musical project together, music from Castilla.
A few months after, I purchased my first Irish bouzoki, in wich I felt interested for a long time before....I began to play the bouzouki in Brenga Astur as an official member (I still play with them)

In 2001 I took my first Asturian Bagpipes class, given by Pindy, one of the Brenga Astur pipers. Since then I put most of my eforces to master the pipes: in 2003 I got in TDM Pipe Band in wich I still play.
In 2005...at last! One more instrument was calling my attention: the wooden flute :D I started with a crappy plastic model. I improved quite fast and I got my first wooden one.....and then, Today!
I usually play in an Irish Traditional Music Trio, Shymen .
