About Me

I studied in IADT, and I'm one of the founding members of Irish animation collective Delicious 9. During the four years working with this group I collaborated on over 50 different projects, ranging from video installations, design, live audio visual performances, visual sets, curation, children's workshops and a diverse range of 25 experimental music videos. Searching for delicious 9 on youtube should bring up a few of them. In 2005, I wrote and directed my first short film "Stars", which picked up best animated film at the 2005 Galway Film Fleadh, and a further 7 awards on the festival circuit. After working on commercials for Coca Cola, Hard Working Class Heroes Festival & The Den/The Ark co-production 'Save That Robot', I left the Delicious 9 collective in 2006. Since then I've worked on a few commercials, music vids, tv shows etc.. I'm comped a video for Oasis called 'The Masterplan' which picked up some awards.
Recently I've become more into personal work. I'm now developing an animated feature film with Still Films and the Irish Film Board- an adaptation of a 1960 American sci fi novel. I'm also exploring more experimental avenues, notably the occasional performance of live animation with my mate and awesome musician Neil O'Connor and his band Somadrone.
