About Me

A formal Jimmy Girl bio is forthcoming.
I am currently in the process of collecting data, dates, times, names, blood types Etc. In the meantime I can tell you this:
Whenever I saw Jimmy Girl live I always had a sly smile on my face. Like I was privy to some huge secret between myself and the band. Nothing had to be said, but when you saw them you knew that no other band stood a chance in their wake.
These boys were the real deal. Nothing fake, set up or designed. They purely believed in what they were doing. They believed in rock n' roll. And when they would get together it would shine like a blinding light. And if you were lucky enough to be there you understood. You had the same smile. We would glance over at one another and give an acknowledging nod that we had, in fact, just witnessed magic.
It is with a heavy heart when I tell you that around this time our friend Seven made the decision to take his own life. Thus dimming that blinding light and ending the magic. You will forever be missed.
I am friends with every single member of Jimmy Girl, and when asked for their blessing to make this tribute page I was met with the same wonderful flair, excitement and enthusiasm that I have come to know from them. Not only did they give me their highest of blessings, but they encouraged it. I have never met a band before or after that every single member was a joy to be around.
In the coming weeks I will be gathering as much information as I can with accurate time lines and personal accounts and will put together a bio that will hopefully do the band justice.
I placed up almost every picture I ever took of the band and you don't need a magnifying glass to see the fun and excitement that happened when they got together.
Thank you for listening and looking... and listening again.
When I was younger my musician friends and I used to sit around drinking and pick a band that each of us would have loved to be a part of other than our own. My first choice is and always will be the same, The original Alice Cooper Group.....my second will always be Jimmy Girl.

Just remember that they own a big piece of you
And when you're gone you're just a song"
