Kilgore Trout aka Stefan Bevcic came in contact with music in his early days through his musically rich family. After his first experiences with the guitar and organ, he soon discovered that drums he tried to play at his friend's place were the right instrument for him. And so he was playing drums in a few garage punk rock bands for over 15years. He was and still is influenced by music stiles as new age, metal, punk, hard core, grunge and trip hop.
By coincidence he got in touch with electronic music in 1998, visiting his first techno party. In the following years of exploring electronic music he fell in love with the psychedelic culture. Soon it wasn't enough for him just to party, so he decided to start playing psytrance on his own. In the beginning he played on private parties for friends and after his first gig on Radio Student things became to change. From 2002 on, he's playing in all major surrounding clubs: K4, Mizzart, Postgarge - Graz (Austria), Channel Zero, Gala Hala, Ambasada Gavioli, Lipa, etc, festivals as Solar Quest, Symphony, Babylon Youth, The Cathexis, Earthdance and many smaller outdoor parties with well known artists from all over the word.
You could describe his stile as deep, growling full on, with a good feeling for the dancing people. Among that, he just enjoys to play long, marathon sets. In his free time he also likes to crochet, whistling folk songs and playing pipes with his nose… ;)
