I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

A typical Chinese Dragon, I tend to live life in a constant state of energy, loving to experience everything life has to offer. Having spent the past several years totally into politics and social issues, I'm trying hard to turn over a new leaf, "calm down", and put more of my energy into playing my guitar, living more simply with more quality time, and seeing more of the world around me. Outside of work, I love to read, listen to music (mostly baroque and vintage jazz), play/record baroque and renaissance guitar music, and visit our three adorable adoptees at a local nursing home, who - like 50 percent of all nursing home residents - have no surviving family or friends to visit them. After spending 2007 as a diehard workaholic and extreme Type-A progressive liberal, I've finally decided to take more time for me for a change, and start enjoying more time with the love of my life, and my three totally awesome kids. I always enjoy meeting new friends, and would love to find a fellow classical guitarist to play with - or some Irish musicians for casual living room jamming.

Christians, Intolerance & the Quest for Theocracy

While all of my friends are jaded agnostics, athiests or wiccan, I pretty much stand alone in my crowd as the only one who claims the Christian belief system. And at a roughly 200-member nondemoninati...

Enough About Illegal Mexicans...what about Corporate America?

A friend of mine wisely commented last week that the illegal Mexican "crisis" is no worse than it was a couple of years ago; that it was simply a drop in President Bush's numbers that begged a hot, ul...
