I Mistery Of Friday nascono nei primi mesi del 2006 da un’idea di Ezio (voce/chitarra) e Giacomo (batteria) entrambi affascinati dalla scena grunge di Seattle e dal grande rock degli anni ‘60/’70.
I due amici cominciano quasi per gioco in una casa di campagna provando canzoni dei Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins…
Tante idee e voglia di fare qualcosa di nuovo portano al completamento del gruppo. Infatti nel giugno dello stesso anno arrivano Federico (basso) e Salvo (chitarra solista).
La band, ormai al completo, si concentra da subito su pezzi inediti sviluppando attentamente i testi particolarmente introspettivi (da qui il nome dell’album).
Tanti i concerti nell’hinterland palermitano e non solo; Piazze, contest e tutto quello che può dare un po’ di visibilità .
Introspective Visions è il primo album della band. Undici canzoni per cinquanta minuti complessivi di musica.******
ENGLISH VERSIONMistery of Friday is a music band created at the beginning of 2006 by Ezio (voice/guitar) and Giacomo (drums) who were both charmed by the grunge scene of Seattle and the great hard rock of the 60s and 70s. The two friends started playing almost by chance in a countryside house, where they rehearsed the best of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots and Smashing Pumpkins.
Their passion for music convinced them that they could do something important in the music world and so in June 2006 the band was completed by Federico (bass) and Salvo (solo guitar). From now on the band will work on the production of songs based on an introspective tone. For this reason their first collection is called “introspective visionsâ€: a total of 11 songs in 50 minutes that have been played all over Palermo and its hinterland during music festivals, concerts and contests***************************
