About Me

If you put our banner on your page, you’ll be the BIZNASS.

The Garden District is a band from New Orleans, Louisiana. We make sincere, high-energy rock music for the people we love, for friends we don’t even know yet, and for ourselves. We start by examining our own experiences....love, defeat, confusion, ambition, faith, skepticism, clarity. We build each song piece by piece, matching the intensity of the music with that of the message. Then we take a breath, take the stage, and spill absolutely everything....to anyone who will listen.

Black Tie Affair....it was a white dress occasion

Love/Hate/Shine/Fade...a study in unsteadiness

This song is about the inevitable connection between the bright and dark side of things.  The musical references to Counting Crows' "Long December" and Jimmy Eat World's "Crush" are really import...
