Nofrendo is a DJ/Producer out of Denver, CO with over 8 years of experience in the electronic music industry. Starting out as a Drum N Bass DJ from Aurora, CO named DJ Scrub, He was exposed to hip hop and break beat during the 80's as every youth was of this time through greats like Run DMC, Public Enemy, and The Beastie Boys.
It was not until the mid 90's when DJ Scrub, through an aggressive inline skating video called "Video Groove 4", heard Dr. Octagon's "Bear Witness" feat. Kool Keith, Dan the Automator, and DJ QBert as well as Camp Lo's "Krystal Karrington", that he was hooked on HIP HOP. The abstract poetic vision of this Dr. Octagon and raw lyrical flavors of Camp Lo fueled a passion for break beat, hip hop and turntablism that would not end soon.
Check out this sweet music. I can't remember how many Hours I've spent entranced by these sounds as a child. I'm still in awe as an adult. HOW AWESOME!!
