Brightline is a five-piece rock band hailing from Long Island, New York. With various influences from Billy Holiday to Motley Crue, this band takes what they know and puts it to good use. This is not your typical female fronted band. They are not a "girl band" or a "chick band", Brightline is a band that is suitable for anyone. Miranda, Kyle, George, Chris, and Kenny use their musical knowledge and training to make the best music they possibly can. Rocking out is what they know and what they love, and all they want to do is share their joy with you. If their music makes you laugh, smile, or dance, then their job is done! They have an exciting, full of energy stage show thats worth the ticket cost.
From the start, all the members of the band were influenced from various artists, bands and musicians. Miranda is inspired by the likes of old school Billie Holiday and Frank Sinatra all the way to the brutal breakdowns of Down To Nothing, Outbreak, and Set Your Goals. George's musical background comes straight out of a Drive-Thru records sampler, from like likes of Allister to New Found Glory. Chris gets inspiration from the funny and witty Say Anything and the poppy and punky music. Kyle can go from brutal break downs to the skanktastic sounds of Ska, such as having A Day To Remember and Reel Big Fish together on the same playlist. Kenny can be brutal at times, and can then be a party animal. From his most inspiration from the 80's Sunset Strip scene to the royalty of the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson. As you can tell musically this band can deliver what you want, when you want it. Plus if you make them cookies, brownies, etc... or give them gifts, they will love you forever!
Brightline has shared the stage with such major label bands as Bedlight For Blue Eyes, Crash Romeo, and more. They are ready to hit the big time, and invade your TV screen. Be on the look out because they are one of the most anticipated bands of 2008!
