Scrapfaggot Green - One of the last 'witches' to be burned at the stake in Essex, England was buried at Scrapfaggot Green near the village of Great Leighs. They must have feared her because they used a very large boulder to cover her grave and hold her down. Then, in WWII, an American GI moved her stone...
There is even an account in TIME magazine and a file on her at Saint Anne's Castle, public house, of all the strange things going on in the area since that day...!
